Welcome to the Lewes Live Lit website
You may have heard that Lewes Live Lit has had its regular funding axed by Arts Council England. This is true. But fear not. Our artistic vision - developed over the last year - is all about moving away from the traditional format of the literature festival. We are enthusiastic about the future, with ambitious plans to put LLL at the cutting edge of contemporary live literature production.
Projects in the pipeline include Free Speech - a festival for young people in June 2009 - as part of the Festival of Words consortium.
